TESPA - Technocrat Engineered Special Production Aids is well known throughout industry in India for over two decades. TESPA is promoted by Technocrat Mr. K S Shetty, Graduate Engineer of College of Engg, Guindy, Chennai in the year 1974. TESPA has three manufacturing facilities, two Calibration Labs and a Training Centre and a Metrology Division Marketing and Service with Application Engg Support for Inspection and Quality Control systems. TESPA has built up an enviable reputation for "Quality in Measure". 'TESPA'  products include Inprocess gauging & inspection system and post process gauging and inspection system, which include Multigauging with computerized SPC systems.

TESPA products are in use in most major industries- Automotive, Aircraft, Defence, Textile Processing Industry and General Engineering numbering over 750 large and medium industries, besides a few overseas ones.

Dedicated to the support of quality control operations in every type of industry, TESPA offers a family of products ranging from Inprocess grinding gauges, Multigauging with fully automatic gauging systems with application SPC software. Besides, we support and market Electronic Micrometer & Caliper, Metroscope, Electronic height gauges, Internal measuring micrometer and other hand held measuring instruments.  TESPA has expanded in the years and has four divisions of operations.

MANUFACTURING Three factories having area of total Sq. ft 24’000/-.  Employees 140  Have three Vertical Machining Centre, Grinding machines and all other conventional machines.  Manufacturing Precision Machined components for Engineering/ Auto Industries for the domestic market    needs.  LUCAS TVS, ILJIN AUTOMOTIVE, ASHOK LEYLAND are prominent customers in  India.  Manufacturing Precision Machined Parts and export to USA.  Manufacturing of Precision components for Space Department ISRO.  TESPA Electronic Factory manufactures the Electronic Dynamo Regulators, and all types of PCB  assemblies and Electronic gauging systems.

INPROCESS  GAUGES DIVISION TESPA In-process Gauging systems for Grinding Machines are engineered to establish new perfect Quality Standards and provides an extremely accurate method of continuous inspection and size control during grinding. TESPA Inprocess Grinding gauge is available for Cylindrical Grinding, Internal Grinding, Surface Grinding and Centerless Grinding. When fitted with Special Calipers it also measures interrupted surfaces such as diameters with key ways, knurls and Splines.

METROLOGY DIVISION

Precise  Measuring instruments & systems, Multigauging systems & fixtures with SPC softwares are designed and manufactured to meet customers specific requirements. Inprocess and post process computerized inspection stations with automatic SPC output is designed and manufactured with electronic transducers and electronics from Brown & Sharpe TESA Switzerland. The Mechanical design and manufacturing is from our in house CAD engineering facility.  TESPA INDIA markets electronic micrometers, dial gauges and other measuring hand tools.

CALIBRATION LABORATORY - NABL ACCREDITATION LAB

Supplies of the Metrology products alone do not complete the support to customers. To extend the service better, TESPA realized to have a TESPA CALIBRATION LABORATORY equipped with high precision Calibration Equipments of leading brands like BROWN & SHARPE TESA, MICROREP etc…TESPA is accredited by the National Accreditation board of Lab in India -NABL. TESPA is the only accredited Lab in the field of Dimensional Metrology in this part of the country. 

TESPA INSTITUTE OF QUALITY MANAGEMENT

TESPA believes on Continuous improvement for which on-going Training Programmes is essential. Training is conducted for customers and this made TESPA to be a One-stop-shop in the field of Metrology. TESPA Institute of Quality Management (TIQM) conducts regular training programmes on CALIBRATION, SPC, FMEA etc. and Quality related areas. TESPA conducts tailor-made training programs to suit customer requirements.

Agency Division

Mechanical and Electronic hand tools ranging from Electronic Calipers, Micrometers, Bore gauges, Electronic Height gauges, Slip gauges, Comparators, Single and Multi station SPC, Slip gauge calibrators, Gauging Transducers from Brown & Sharpe TESA Switzerland besides Universal length measuring machines DMS 680 from MICROREP Italy.

Plant I in Ambattur Industrial Estate in Chennai, manufactures Mechanical Parts.

Plant II in Ambattur Industrial Estate where Electronic Assemblies are done.

Plant III is located at Industrial suburbs of Chennai in Gummidipoondi. In-Process and Post process gauging systems and gauges, Multigauging Fixtures and systems with computerized quality control station are manufactured.

Calibration Centre in Annanagar at Chennai does the calibration works and servicing of metrology equipments. 

TESPA Institute of Quality Management is at Sidco Aiema Towers, Ambattur, Chennai where training takes place at regular intervals.
